Riverside Cottage
Riverside Cottage was originally built and used as the school house for the families living in the area from the 1800s until 1904 when the school was moved and the building was converted into a house.
It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a triple bunk bed (double on bottom, single on top) so ideal for families or two couples visiting together. Upstairs there is a shower room with toilet, and downstairs an additional bathroom with bath and hand held shower.
There is a large open plan living / dining room with bifold division if you prefer a cosy night in front of the wood-burning stove. The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, large fridge freezer and dishwasher. We have a separate utility room with washing machine.
Outside there is ample grass and paved areas to keep everyone entertained and a wood-fired hot tub with magnificent 360 degree views. There is direct access to the river from the cottage but thhe path and steps are steep and should be treated with respect and caution
Downstairs is mainly washable floor so we are happy to accept well behaved dogs.
